GANDERBAL: Asserting that the people of Kashmir will not be fazed by the ‘threats of BJP-RSS about scrapping special status of the State’, National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah said his party will continue to work for the restoration of Autonomy.
Dr Abdullah, who is the NC candidate for Srinagar Lok Sabha seat, said that those who are saying that Article 370, Article 35-A are temporary, are wittingly or un-wittingly affirming that the accession was also temporary.
“Those who created ruckus about the assertions of Omar Abdullah’s speech wherein he has sought the restoration of the status of the State on the original terms of accession are unqualified and untaught about the historical facts,” Dr Abdullah alleged while addressing a rally at Madar-e-Maharban stadium in Ganderbal in central Kashmir.
