JAMMU, Oct 14: Organized by Army Public School, 2-day Northern Command Annual Principals’ Meet concluded today.
The meet was attended by all principals of Northern Command and one principal each from other five commands. The meet was chaired by Lt Gen HJS Sachdev, COS Northern Command while Major General AK Dhar, patron, APS Akhnoor, Major General (Retd) BS Daulta, MD AWES, chairmen and staff officers of all Army Public Schools of Northern Command, Director, AWES Northern Command and Director Schools, AWES also present.
The meet started with welcome address by Major General AK Dhar followed by inaugural speech by COS Northern Command. In his address, he gave his best wishes and highlighted the role of Army Public Schools for upbringing of children.
The topics that were discussed included communication skills, technology aided learning, how to motivate students for joining defense services and how to improve quality of education in Army Public Schools.
Many agenda points were also given by principals of various schools. The closing address was given by patron of school while vote of thanks presented by Brigadier SK Dey, chairman APS, Akhnoor.
