JAMMU, July 3: President, Dogra Brahman Pratinidi Sabha (DBPS) J&K,  Ved  Parkash Sharma today  expressed deep concern  over the non- implementation  of GST  in the  J&K State  and urged upon the Prime Minister to take all much needed measures  for implementing  the same  without any further delay.
Expressing  anguish  over the fact  that Jammu & Kashmir  State is on  the brink of economic  catastrophe  with supply of essential commodities  getting blocked, Sharma  said some quarters  are  busy in invoking useless articles and ideology and the  same will not help or succeed.
Interacting with media persons here  today, Sharma opined that State can ill afford not be under one nation, one tax regime. Jammu traders are already on board, therefore there should  be no reason why it cannot get implemented. In fact it is a win win  situation for traders and consumers, he added.

He appealed  to all political parties to rise above petty political considerations and appreciate the land mark decision  that has been implemented under the able  leadership of  Prime Minister,  Modi.
Sharma has extended total support to traders organizations  of  Jammu along with industrialists who are spearheading  the implementation  of GST  in J&K State.
