JAMMU, Nov 14: A general body meeting of J&K Non Gazetted Accounts Employees Association was held today under the chairmanship of its president Kulwant Singh.
A large number of Accounts personnel took part in the meeting and discussed their general issues and grievance.
The meet particularly expressed its serious concern over alleged harassment of Non-Gazetted Accounts personnel, posted in different departments, and threatened to launch a stir over the issue. In some departments, Non-Gazetted Accounts personnel are being harassed by their officers for self interest and we will not tolerate this, said the participants of the meet.
The Association unanimously decided to launch a struggle against this harassment of their cadre and announced to organize protest dharnas in front of such departments very soon. The members will be informed about the venue and schedule of dharnas shortly, said a handout.
The meeting was attended by S K S Khalsa, Prem Nath, Ram Paul, Bishan Kumar, Sham Lal, Rajesh Kumar, Raj Paul Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Rajinder Singh, Pardeep Kumar, Jagdish Sharma, Chuni Lal, Kuldeep Sharma, Bishamber Kumar, Ravid Sharma and others.
