Non functioning of e-studio at SKUAST, government constitute committee

SRINAGAR : Jammu and Kashmir government has constituted a committee to ascertain reasons for non functioning of e-studio constructed at a cost of Rs 3.66 crore at S K University of Agriculture Sciences (SKUAST-J) and Technology-Jammu.
This information was given by Minister for Agriculture Production, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura in reply to a question by Surinder Kumar Choudhary in the Legislative Council.
The minister informed that a Committee has been constituted to ascertain reasons for non-functioning of e-studio at SKUAST-J.
He said that the e-studio was constructed at a cost of Rs 3.66 crores and inaugurated by Director General, ICAR on August 4, 2007 to conduct video conference of agricultural experts with farmers of Jammu region. The Minister said after the submission of the fact finding report by the constituted committee, the University will proceed accordingly. (AGENCIES)
