JAMMU, Dec 14: A three- month non-formal Sanskrit Education Camp began today at Sanskrit Department of Jammu University.
This camp is fully sponsored by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan , New Delhi. In this camp, students from all fields will get an opportunity to learn Sanskrit.
President awardee and national level Sanskrit Scholar, Prof. Vishwa Murti Shastri was chief guest in the inaugural function where welcome note was delivered by Head of the Sanskrit Department, Prof Sushma Devi. Key note address was delivered by Dean Arts, Prof. Ramnika Jalali. Dr K.C Sharma was also present in this function.
Prof Vishwa Murti Shastri highlighted the importance of Sanskrit in modern society. The programme was compeered by the camp teacher, Sushant Sharma.
