It has been observed that at many ration depots, items like rice , Atta and in particular sugar are not available. About sugar, excepting on occasions like approaching festivals etc sugar is made available but no even other items are not found . The item of kerosene was long back removed from the list so much so that most of the people even have not seen the item anywhere but what about these three general items of consumption? The people have to visit these depots many times taxing their time and energy. Timely availability and its delivery to the consumers should be the priority of the authorities especially now that the Right to Food has been made applicable in this state also.
As unfortunately there is no government formation after the death of Mufti Sayeed ,the Governor who is known for better administration should look into this problem so that the people do not feel much about there being no popular Government in office to do peoples’ work.
