He said despite the recommendations made by various authorities as well as feasibility report given by the concerned Zonal Officer Jammu, the authorities are not taking any interest in upgradation of the school to provide educational facilities to the children of this backward community at its door steps.
Khan said as the area falls in the Raipur Damana Constituency the then MLA of the Assembly segment has also taken up the issue with higher ups in Government but to no avail.
The nomadic community members also held a protest demonstration here yesterday seeking justice. Khan said in case Government continues to delay the issue, the community members will be forced to intensify agitation.
