JAMMU, May 19: The Government today changed Nodal Officers of two new Government Medical Colleges (GMCs) of Kathua and Doda after Dr Shashi Gupta, former Principal GMC Jammu, who had been posted as Nodal Officer GMC Kathua, proceeded on leave and didn’t join the new place of posting.
Dr Sunanda Raina, HoD Anatomy, GMC Jammu has been posted as new Nodal Officer for GMC Doda in place of Dr Bela Mahajan, HoD Microbiology, GMC Jammu, who has been transferred and posted as Nodal Officer, GMC Kathua in place of Dr Shashi Gupta.
Dr Zahid Jeelani, HoD Pharmacology, would continue as Nodal Officer GMC Rajouri.
All five Nodal Officers including those of GMCs Baramulla and Anantnag would officiate as Principals of the Colleges, which would be made functional from upcoming session in August-September.
