REASI July 4: Peeved over no water supply to their area, locals from Bidda area here today staged a protest demonstration against Jal Shakti Department.
The protesters also blocked the main Bidda-Salal Dam road for several hours.
The protesting villagers including women assembled at the main road in morning and blocked it which caused immense hardships to commuters.
The protesters claimed that there was no drinking water supply to their area due to which they were facing a lot of problems in meeting their daily routine chores.
After some hours, Jal Shakti officials came and pacified the protesters, who then lifted the blockade.
