No visitor from PoK, 7 Kashmiris cross LoC

SRINAGAR: Not a single guest from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) arrived here today while seven Kashmiris crossed over to other side of the Line of Control (LoC) to meet their relatives, separated in 1947 due to partition.

Seven Kashmiris who had gone to PoK in previous bus also returned to their homes after completing stay with their separated relatives, official sources said.

They said there was no PoK guest today in the Karvan-e-Aman bus, operating between Muzaffarabad, capital of PoK and Srinagar. However, seven Kashmiris, including three women, returned to their homes.

Sources said that seven Kashmiris, including four woman, crossed over to other side at Kaman post, the last Indian military post on this side of the LoC in Uri sector.  (AGENCIES)
