No pendency of treasury bills: Navin

JAMMU, Aug 9: Chamber of Commerce & Industry today organized an interactive session at Chamber House on GST with  Navin K Choudhary,  Commissioner Secretary Finance.
President Chamber of Commerce Rakesh Gupta made the welcome address.
Speaking on GST Mr Choudhary emphasized that Industries and trade in coordination with Chamber of Commerce & Industry should organize seminars in consultations with all the stakeholders regarding implementation of GST in the State. He also informed the participants that till date there is no pendency of treasury bills in his office and on the day -today basis a complete check on the pendency of bills is looked after by his  office and simultaneously  cleared.
Regarding pendency of bills with respect to transformer industries,  handsome amount has been released to liquidate the pending bills of transformers units . He also informed the participants that in coming days efforts have been made by the Department to ensure that no bills of any firm will remain pending with the department for a long time.
