KATRA, June 1: In view of undertaking periodic maintenance of the Bhawan-Bhairon Passenger Ropeway System, the operation of the Ropeway shall remain temporarily suspended for two days June 5 and 6.
According to a spokesperson of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, a team of technical experts from the parent company, M/s Garaventa AG, Switzerland is visiting the site for periodic maintenance of the Bhawan-Bhairon Passenger Ropeway for ensuring greater safety of the passengers as well as the system itself. He added that, however, the normal functioning of the Ropeway System shall again commence from June 7.
