No more migration of people from border areas

With stress on extending the developmental infrastructure activities to border areas and in this connection several steps having already been taken have improved the position of such areas but lot needs to be done for which more schemes are going o be implemented which shall start yielding such results within next two years that migration of people from such strategically important areas for better living opportunities shall be minimised to the barest possible extent. Such assurances given by the concerned Union Minister recently in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh especially in respect of such areas in the north east, are generating hopes which we expect shall get the required pace and direction especially looking to its requirement on other factors too that of sharing a long border area with China , Myanmar and Bhutan.
Scheme of Vibrant Village Programme (VVP) announced recently in the Union Budget of 2022-23 shall reportedly cover major part of development, building infrastructure as also rehabilitation of people living close to the border areas through various benefits under the VVP. The task, however, is not a onetime endeavour but a consistent and constant developmental strategy and implementation of chain of schemes including related to digitization and fastest internet facilities. The best barometer of measuring the levels of border development, therefore, is how on the barest minimum level, people migrated to other areas for earning a better and assured living.
