JAMMU, Sept 19: Pakistan Army continued ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) in Sabjian sector of Poonch district throughout the last night but there were no casualties or damage.
Official sources said Pakistan Army resumed firing in Sabjian sector at 10.30 pm and continued it till 5 am. The Indian side retaliated.
However, other sector in Poonch district like Balakote, Mendhar and Digwar remained calm with no firing reported there since last evening. The day passed off peacefully in all areas of Poonch district.
Indian troops remained on high alert all along the LoC in Poonch district in anticipation of firing and infiltration attempts by the militants, sources said.
