JAMMU, Jan 6: The dead body of a Nursing Orderly was found today from one of the washrooms of Government Super Speciality Hospital (SSH), Jammu.
According to a police official, Ramesh Kumar (30) son of Som Raj, resident of Nowshera, who was posted as Nursing Orderly (NO) in SSH Jammu, was found in unconscious condition from washroom of ICU of the Hospital, early this morning, by one of his colleagues.
He said when shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, he was declared as brought dead by the doctors. “There is no injury mark on the body of the deceased, so prima facie, it appears to be a case of cardiac arrest or drug overdose. However, inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC has been initiated in this connection at police station Bakshi Nagar,” he added.
The official said after postmortem the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
