No financial help given to B’mulla blast victim: Ex-MLC

SUNDERBANI, June 23: Former MLC and chief spokesperson of JKPCC, Ravinder Sharma has regretted lack of any financial support to the Baramulla blast injured Govind Singh of Sunderbani, who is still bed ridden with multiple metallic splinters all over body.
PCC leader visited Govind Singh, who is recovering from the injuries at his residence in Sunderbani area after remaining hospitalised since serious injuries in the grenade attack inside the wine shop in Baramulla on May 17 last month.
The family members revealed that the JKUT administration failed to extend any financial help to the young victim of a poor family except Rs 5000 only, whereas the family had to bear lot of expenses to take care of him while in hospital in Kashmir and presently too he needs further treatment.
Sharma regretted the LG’s administration for failure to provide adequate and timely assistance to the militancy victim whereas BJP government and administration makes talk claims of helping such cases. Youth Congress leaders Rakesh Singh Narwal and Bhupinder Singh accompanied former MLC.
They urged the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to provide a government job in the Police department to the young blast victim ,who still feels pain due to multiple metallic splinters in the body. He also sought adequate financial assistance to the poor family out of SRE funds, without further delay.
