JAMMU, Feb 17: Deputy Mayor Jammu, Purnima Sharma said that no notification has been issued regarding the imposition of Property Tax.
Talking to reporters here, today she informed that the order/notification received from the HUDD Secretariat, was only to calculate the norms on which the amount for the Property Tax will be charged. No order or notification has been received till now regarding the implementation of the Property Tax, she added.
Purnima Sharma, further appealed to the locals not to get panicky in this regard as no Property Tax is going to be implemented only a notification has been received by JMC from Secretariat to discuss the norms on which the property tax may be charged.
