JAMMU, May 6: Expressing his grave dismay over the inordinate delay in accepting the report of designated committee headed by Union Finance Secretary, which had submitted recommendations to Finance Minister for appropriate action, president of National Mazdoor Conference Subash Shastri today urged the Prime Minister to accept recommendations of the said committee to remove pay anomalies in the lower grade staff of Central Government employees.
Interacting with media persons here he urged the Prime Minister to accept recommendations of the said committee constituted for removing pay anomalies besides finalization of HRS and other related allowances by the Central Government in July 2016. The committee has already submitted report to Arun Jaitely recommending maximum increase in all allowances besiudes removal of pay anomalies.
Appreciating the policies of Modi Government at the Centre, Shastri urged the Centre to fully support Jammu and Kashmir Government in its endeavour to ameliorate the suffering of common man as the State has been under extremely disturbed conditions. He demanded an issuance of an early notification regarding implementation of 7th pay commission recommendations and creation of separate wage head for uninterrupted release of monthly wages of daily rate workers of various Government departments.
Besides he also demanded release of 14% DA in favour of State Government employees and pensioners, total exemption od DA from income tax slab, regularization of service of all 61000 daily rated workers, enhancing Medical Allowance to Rs 3000 per month, strict implementation of Government Order regarding deduction of CP Fund of daily rated employees and increasing daily wage rate to Rs 350.
