JAMMU, July 15: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) today demanded release of 7th Pay Commission arrears in one go to the pensioners of all age group instead of only those of 80 years and above.
“The need of the hour is that discriminatory revision should be re examine to give similar treatment to all pensioners,” Subhash Shastri, NMC president, said this while addressing a well attended meet of workers at Gandhi Nagar in Jammu.
Describing Governor NN Vohra upright, learned and strong administrator, Shastri hoped all the pending issues pertaining to salaried/working classes will be sorted out without any delay. He added that political Government should learn lesson from the working of the present Governor regime.
Shastri also batted for extending 7th Pay Commission benefits to employees of Public Sector undertakings, who mostly remain deprived.
