JAMMU, Oct 1: Election of Urban Forestry Division (UFD) was held here under the leadership of S. Gurcharan Singh, provincial president of All J&K Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association.
During election Nitin Charak was unanimously elected as UFD president with the consent of all UFD employees.
Gurcharan Singh welcomed the newly elected president and advised him to work for the welfare of all the employees of UFD and Charak assured to so the same.
Ashwani Sharma RO TT Range, Suresh Sharma RO Sunjwan, Shakeel Ahmed RO MFP, Hafiz Choudhary RO Gladni, Mohit Gupta RO and Mohd. Rafaq RO were also present on the occasion.
Provincial body members who played their role during the election were Salamat Ali, general secretary; Tarun Mehra, organiser; Mohd. Khurshid, publicity secretary; Hamid Kohli, Raju Bhan, Laxmi Dass and others.
