Nirmal announces Rs 10 lakh for Gaushala

JAMMU, Jan 15: A team of Vichar Kranti Manch Int’l participated in the 5th foundation day of Shri Narsingh Gaushala Mandli Billawar.
Dr. Nirmal Singh former Deputy Chief Minister was the chief guest. I. D. Soni State Commissioner Bharat Scouts and Guides and Advisor VKMI presided over the function, S K Jain president VKMI was the guest of honour. Other members of VKMI including Rattan Lal Mahajan (Ratto Shah) advisor, Gait Nandan Jain Zonal President and Narinder Jain advisor also participated.
Chander Bhushan Gupta President of the Gaushala welcomed the audience and explained the achievements. He said construction of sheds, and other works are in progress.
Baldev Singh coordinator requested the chief guest, who is also MLA of the area to provide financial help for construction of shed to which he agreed and announced that Rs. 10 lakh will be arranged and provided to the Gaushala Mandli for this work.
I. D. Soni and S. K. Jain also spoke on the occasion and stated that selfless service of the cows is directly related to the economy of the nation and therefore it is in the interest of everybody to provide generous financial help for this novel cause. Some of the participants donated on the spot namely Rattan Lal Mahajan Rs. 21,000, Narinder Jain Rs. 11,000, Janak Raj Gupta Rs. 5,000 and Gait Nandan Jain Rs. 11,000, other two NGOs namely Jammu and Kashmir Gou Raksha Samiti and Natural Clamity Forum donated an amount of Rs. Rs. 51,000 and Rs Rs. 14,000 respectively.
In the programme, representatives of other NGOs namely Bharat Scouts and Guides, Bhagwan Mahaveer Meditation Trust and Research Centre Kup (Pb), Hari Prabhu Sanstha Gujroo Nagrota, SS Jain Sabha, Senior Citizen Rejuvenation Centre, Jammu and Kashmir, Gou Raksha Samiti also participated. The programme was conducted by Cap. (retd) Om Parkash general secretary of Narsingh Gaushala.
