Nirankari Mission organizes Blood Donation Camp

JAMMU, June 12: Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, social wing of Sant Nirankari Mission, here today organized a blood donation camp in Ponichak to observe Blood Donors Day.
As per handout of the Mission 80 units of blood were donated by the volunteers in the Camp inaugurated by JMC Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta.
Zonal Incharge of Mission, Ajit Singh delivered vote of thanks and said that the Mission has been organizing such Camps for the last 36 years.
He said that Baba Hardev Singh Ji gave the message to the world that our blood should flow in veins and not in drains.
In a handout the Mission stated that from time to time they keep on organizing cleanliness campaigns, tree plantation drives, free eye checkup camps, medical camps and also helping people during natural disasters.
Dr. Salve Sharma, Dr. Anuradha Rajwal from Blood Bank GMC Jammu, Rattan Lal (Mukhi Branch Ponichak), Gian Chand (Khetriya Sanchalak Jammu), Ram Mehta, Satpal Sharma, Secretary Indian Red Cross Society; Dr. Navneet Kaur, Director Red Cross Society and Anu of Support NGO were also present on the occasion.
The camp was organized in collaboration with Blood Bank GMC Jammu, Indian Red Cross Society and JKSACS.
