NEW DELHI, Oct 21: Nickel prices fell by 0.12 per cent to Rs 941.20 per kg in futures trade today as participants reduced exposures amidst a weak trend overseas.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in November eased by Rs 1.10, or 0.12 per cent, to Rs 941.20 per kg in a turnover of 20 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in October traded lower by 40 paise, or 0.04 per cent, to Rs 934.10 per kg in 479 lots.
Traders attributed the fall in nickel prices at futures trade to a weak trend in base metal at the London Metal Exchange and subdued demand from domestic alloy-makers. (PTI)
