NEW DELHI, June 17: Supported by a firm demand from alloy-makers at domestic spot markets, nickel futures edged higher by 0.24 per cent to Rs 825.30 per kg today.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in July was up by Rs 2, or 0.24 per cent to Rs 825.30 per kg, with a business turnover of 6 lots.
Metal for delivery in June traded higher by Rs 1.70, or 0.21 per cent, to Rs 817.80 per kg, with a turnover of 246 lots.
Marketmen attributed the rise in nickel prices in futures trade to a firm demand from consuming industries especially alloy-makers. (PTI)
