Nickel edges up on scattered demand

NEW DELHI, Oct 14: Nickel prices inched up by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today on mild demand from consuming industries.
Traders said scattered demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market mainly attributed the rise in nickel prices.
In the national capital, nickel plate (4×4) edged up by Rs 2 to Rs 772-782 per kg.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 114-120, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 772-782, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 366, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 119, lead imported Rs 125, aluminium ingots Rs 154, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 150, aluminium wire scrap Rs 150 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 148. (PTI)
