NEW DELHI, Sept 10: In restricted activity, nickel prices edged higher by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today on scattered demand from consuming industries.
However, other base metals held steady in thin trade.
Traders said mild demand from consuming industries helped nickel prices to trade marginally higher.
In the national capital, nickel plate (4×4) edged up by Rs 2 to Rs 847-852 per kg.

Zinc ingot Rs 109-115, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 847-852, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 378, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 93, lead imported Rs 99, aluminium ingots Rs 156, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 152, aluminium wire scrap Rs 152 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 150. (PTI)
