NEW DELHI, Aug 6: Prices of nickel and aluminium moved up by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today due to increased demand from consuming industries amid a firm global trend.
Traders said besides pick up in demand from consuming, a firm trend overseas mainly led to rise in nickel and aluminium prices.
In the national capital, nickel plate (4×4) advanced by Rs 2 to Rs 846-851 per kg.
Aluminium ingots, sheet cutting, wire scrap and utensils scrap were enquired higher by Rs 2 each to Rs 156, Rs 152, Rs 152 and Rs 150 per kg respectively.

Zinc ingot Rs 105-111, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 846-851, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 377, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 90, lead imported Rs 96, aluminium ingots Rs 156, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 152, aluminium wire scrap Rs 152 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 150. (PTI)
