Niaz, Naresh, Saroori seek vote for Azad

DODA, Mar 26: Senior Congress leader and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori today said that the country has witnessed tremendous development in all spheres of life under UPA regime in the past 10 years including J&K.
He cautioned the people against malicious campaign launched against UPA Government. He said that there was a need for strengthening parties like Congress at national level to encouraging democratic and secular forces.
Addressing public rallies at Gandoh and Changa today the MLA said that Congress is the only secular face of country which has great history of religious brotherhood and social equality and it is the Congress Party which turns the dreams common men in reality. Food Security Bill, Land Acquisition bill, MGNREGA and various other flag ship programmes and schemes are the major achievements of the party.
Saroori said that Azad’s tenure as Chief Minister and Union Health Minister was the golden period for J&K state and several historical decision and development projects were taken into hands during Azad’s tenure.
MLA Bhaderwah Moha-mmed Sharief Niaz, highlighted the achievements of the UPA II Government and the developmental works done by Azad. He urged the party cadre to gear up and work day and night at village and mohallah level and ensure maximum polling for making Azad successful in this Lok Sabha elections.
Among others who spoke were MLC Naresh Gupta, advocate Aslam Goni and Sheikh Mujeeb. They appealed the party workers to gear up for the Lok Sabha elections and ensure the victory of party candidate for Udhampur-Kathua Constituency Ghulam Nabi Azad.
