MENDHAR, July 28: Niaka Majari villagers in tehsil Mendhar of district Poonch are without power for the last about one month.
The people of the area held protest demonstration here today after Namaz against the PDD authorities. They alleged that power transformer went out of order about a month back. After a lot of hue and cry, it was re-intsalled installed hardly 2 days back but it again went out of order immediately. They alleged that due to negligence on the part of PDD staff the people of the area are suffering. They villagers have sought the intervention of higher authorities in the PDD.
