JAMMU, Aug 29: New India Assurance Company (NIAC) presented a cheque of Rs 8.50 lakh to Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha (SSDS) popularly known as Devi Bal Baramulla as compensation for the damages suffered by the shrine in the flash floods last year.
The cheque was presented by the Senior Divisional Manager of the Insurance Company Dr Daleep Pandita to Virender Ganjoo working president of the Sabha in presence of S K Tickoo, Branch Manager of the Company and Kashmiri Lal at an impressive ceremony held at Shrine complex.
The function was attended by large number of members of KP community living in and around Baramulla district.
