NIA raids to help contain militancy: CRPF official

JAMMU: Asserting that 105 militants have been killed this year by security forces, a top CRPF official said today that the raids and arrests carried out recently by the NIA will further help in improving the law and order situation in the Kashmir valley.

Special Director General, J&K Zone of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), S N Srivastava told reporters that things were improving in the valley with regard to militancy and law and order.

“105 militants have been killed in the counter-terrorism operations in the Kashmir valley by the security forces and in many of them the CRPF was actively involved,” he said. (AGENCIES)
