Srinagar, Aug 8: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) today carried out searches in Nigeen area of Srinagar district.
An official said that the search was conducted by the NIA in the Nigeen area of Srinagar. The NIA with the assistance of the Jammu and Kashmir Police carried out searches in Srinagar at the residence of Sahil Zaroo in connection with the funding of militancy.
The raid was carried after his name surfaced during the investigation of a case in which Jammu and Kashmir’s Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Davinder Singh was caught while ferrying two militants out of the Valley on January 11.
