JAMMU, Feb 24: NHPC Limited has organized a grand Hindi Kavi Sammelan today at its Corporate Office, Faridabad for the promotion of Rajbhasha throughout the company.
The Kavi Sammelan was inaugurated by A.K Singh, CMD NHPC by lightening the traditional lamp.
N.K Jain, Director (Personnel); Y.K Chaubey, Director (Technical); R.P Goyal, Director (Finance); Biswajit Basu, Director (Projects); A.K Srivastava, CVO and other senior officers and employees of NHPC were also present on the occasion.
Sudha Singh, President, NHPC Ladies Welfare Association; Sharmila Jain, Pushpa Chaubey and other members of Ladies Welfare Association were also present during the Kavi Sammelan.
On this occasion, A.K Singh, CMD, NHPC addressed all the NHPC employees and highlighted the challenges and goals before NHPC and asked everyone to work with full dedication and diligence in the interest of the company.
The Kavi Sammelan started with Saraswati Vandana by the poetess Ankita Singh. Thereafter, renowned poets of humour and satire Tej Narayan Sharma and Ramesh Muskan enthralled the audience with their humorous and satirical poems.
Ankita Singh, lyricist and poetess of human emotions and ‘Shringhar Ras’, famous poet Dinesh Raghuvanshi and world renowned poet Dr. Kumar Vishwas dazzled the audience with magnificent poetic performances dealing with wide variety of issues and poetic ‘rasas’. Live webcast of the programme was arranged for all the employees of NHPC posted at Corporate Office along with various NHPC Regional Offices, Power Stations, Projects and Units situated in various locations throughout the country.
