JAMMU, Aug 30: NHPC Director (Finance), R.P Goyal undertook a two-day visit of Dulhasti Power Station and Dulhasti-II hydro electricity project.
On first day of the visit Nirmal Singh, General Manager (In-charge), Dulhasti Power Station welcomed the Director who inspected the operation and maintenance activities of power house complex of Dulhasti Power Station.
The General Manager made a presentation to the Director (Finance) about the status of works being done by Dulhasti Power Station.
Thereafter, the Director (Finance) appreciated the works being done and carried out by Dulhasti Power Station and called upon all the officers to work with full dedication and sincerity to take the Corporation to new heights of success.
After this, Goyal visited Chenab Bhawan of Dulhasti Power Station where a guard of honour was presented to him by the CISF unit posted there.
In the afternoon, he visited the proposed site of Dulhasti-II Hydropower Project which is a positive and important step towards development of Dulhasti-II hydro electricity project.
Goyal directed to increase the pace of works being executed at Dulhasti-II project.
On second day of the visit, representatives of various trade unions of Dulhasti Power Station held discussions with the Director and apprised him of their demands.
Goyal encouraged the officers and employees of Dulhasti Power Station to generate maximum power.
He planted saplings at Chenab Bhawan premises of Dulhasti Power Station.
Dr. Nisha Sharma, General Manager (Medical Services); R.N Sharma, General Manager (Civil); S.K Mishra, General Manager (Electrical); G.C Sinha, DGM (Electrical); Bidya Dhar Mohrana, DGM (Electrical); Gursharan Singh, DGM (Electrical); Sanjay Kumar Singh, Senior Manager (Finance); Davinder Koundel, Senior Manager (HR) including officers and staff of Dulhasti Power Station were also present on the occasion.
