JAMMU, Feb 22: Choudhary Mohammed Yasin, Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM), J&K today conducted a detailed visit to Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar (Jammu) wherein he made detailed inspection of NHM supported facilities.
The Mission Director was accompanied by Hitesh Gupta, Additional Director, NHM, J&K and Dr Narinder Bhatial, Divisional Nodal Officer, NHM, Jammu.
Choudhary Mohd Yasin took a detailed round of the IPD Block, Special Newborn Care Unit, District Early Intervention Center etc. He also reviewed the progress of DNB courses run through NHM in the hospital.
During the visit, he shared important observations with Medical Superintendent for provisioning of better and improved healthcare to the patients. He also took stock of beneficiary registration and claim processing under Ayushman Bharat.
He also took his COVID vaccination jab in the hospital and appealed all the front line workers to come forward for vaccination on their scheduled date and not to pay heed to hearsay and instead believe in experts and scientists.
