JAMMU, Sept 18: The NGO-Healthy India Stronger India (HISI)-has been organizing various programmes to raise socio-economic standard of deprived people.
Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman of the NGO today distributed notebooks and writing material among the students undergoing free training in computers at HISI centre.
Speaking on the occasion, Abrol boosted the morale of students to achieve higher goal in life.
Raj Kumar Mehra, President of Ward number 19 was also present during the occasion.
A handout stated that the NGO is running a free training centre for skill development of needy and poor children from BPL families where three month free training in Basic Computers, Beautician, Cutting and Tailoring is being imparted to the youth.
Nearly 600 students have successfully completed their training.
