JAMMU, June 22: A pipping ceremony was held today at Traffic Police Range Headquarters, Jammu, where newly promoted Superintendents of Police (SPs) were decorated with their new ranks.
The SPs who were bestowed with the ranks are Bikram Kumar and Nawaz Chouhan.
As per a statement, the pipping ceremony was presided over by Dr Mohammad Haseeb Mughal, DIG Traffic Jammu, along with Rohit Baskotra, SSP Traffic NHW, M Fiesel Qureshi, SSP Traffic City Jammu, and Vinay Kumar, SSP Traffic Rural Jammu.
Congratulating the officers and their families on this significant achievement, DIG Traffic Jammu commended their exemplary service as Deputy Superintendents of Traffic Police.
He underscored that their promotions entail greater responsibilities and challenges, urging them to continue serving with dedication and enthusiasm.
“I wish both officers the best of luck in their future endeavors,” remarked DIG Mughal, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standards in their new roles.
