JAMMU, Mar 11: The newly elected team of Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) called on Director General of Police, Dr SP Vaid here today.
President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rakesh Gupta led his newly elected team members including, Rajesh Gupta – senior vice president, Rajeev Gupta- junior vice president, Manish Gupta- secretary general, Gaurav Gupta- secretary and Ashu Gupta– treasurer felicitated the DGP. The Chamber president and his team discussed the prevailing security situation in the State and expressed serious concern over the issue of the settlement of foreign elements at several unauthorized colonies of Jammu.
Chamber expressed gratitude to the DGP for having taken up this issue already and having conveyed to the Union Home Ministry. The DGP assured that all necessary steps shall be taken to ensure a peaceful atmosphere in Jammu at any cost.
