SRINAGAR, Oct 31: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) today ordered a change in the school timing with effect from November 1 in the Valley.
An order issued by the DSEK said that the class work in all the Government as well recognized private schools of Kashmir division shall be from 10 am to 3 pm within the Municipal limits of Srinagar.
The class work in schools falling outside the Municipal limits of Srinagar, it said, will be from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm.
“The order/instructions shall be adhered to strictly by all the concerned institutions. Any deviation in this regard shall be viewed seriously,” the order added.
