MUMBAI, July 2: Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer continued to maintain its growth momentum in the Indian luxury car market, as it launched a new Audi RS 5 Coupé today.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India said, “Our strategy of building a strong brand, high quality network and exciting product portfolio is paying its dividend in India.”
We continue to benefit from our market leadership position. As our market share continues to edge higher, we are confident of our growth in the second half of the year through introduction of new models and further dealership expansion. We remain on track to achieve our annual target of 20 per cent growth for 2013, he said.
Equipped with a powerful V8 engine, the high-revving new Audi RS 5 Coupé stunningly sprints from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h.
The new Audi RS 5 Coupé is priced at Rs 9,528,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra) The Audi model range in India includes the Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A7 Sportback, Audi A8L, Audi Q3, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi S4, new Audi RS 5 Coupé, Audi TT Coupé, the super sports car Audi R8, Audi R8 Spyder and the Audi R8 V10 plus available across the country.
