Neha makes audience in tears with her solo play ‘Pulwama’

JAMMU, Feb 25: Neha Lahotra, a renowned theatre artist, made audience wiping their tears during her solo play ‘Pulwama’, which was staged here today to pay tribute to martyred CRPF soldiers, under the banner of Neha’s Art Plaza.
Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar was the chief guest and Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Chairman Team Jammu, was the guest of honour during the function.
‘Pulwama’ – a play written and directed by Neha Lahotra, a junior fellow member of CCRT, was a tribute to the soldiers who laid down their lives in Pulwama attack on February 14. The solo performance done by Neha Lahotra started with a newly married wife of a CRPF soldier, who was one among the 45 soldiers martyred during the attack. The story roams around the planning of a wife for her husband on her first Valentine’s day, which ended with the news of soldier’s death. The play was highly appreciated by the audience, who were virtually in tears during the performance. DC Jammu alongwith Zorawar Singh also paid floral tribute to CRPF martyrs.
