JAMMU, June 4: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor of Ward number 40, Neelam Nargotra along with Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, J&K BJP media secretary here today started blacktopping work in Durga Nagar Mohalla of Ward 40 in Talab Tillo.
Speaking on the occasion the JMC Councillor said that lanes of the area were in dilapidated condition since long and public was facing lot of problems while passing through such lanes.
She said that the work is being done to fulfill the promises made with the people before JMC elections and added that the leftover developmental work in the Ward will also be completed soon.
Nargotra further said that the present work is being started with an estimated cost of Rs. 7.13 lakh.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that the focus of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Union Government is to ensure development at the grass root level.
Yash Pal Shivgotra, Arun Dubey, Rajesh Saini, Paramjeet, Ravinder, Rahul Nargotra, Abhishek Sharma, Vikas Kumar, Dr. Inderjeet Bakshi, Satish Mahotra, Rakesh Radhye (JE PWD), Supervisor PWD and others were also present on the occasion.
