NDPI for providing financial help to families of COVID victims

JAMMU, July 22: National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) has urged the J&K Government to provide financial assistance to families of COVID victims in Jammu and Kashmir on the lines of Kejriwal Government.
In a statement issued today, NDPI J&K unit president Rajesh Gupta, while welcoming Delhi Government’s implementation of the first ever scheme in the country to provide financial assistance to the families of COVID-19 victims, urged Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to implement the same policy in J&K.
The NDPI chief said that AAP National convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has implemented a scheme to provide financial assistance to the family of the person who died of COVID-19. He said as per the Policy, family of the victim will be given Rs 50,000 in cash and Rs 2,500 pension per month.
