JAMMU, May 2: National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) J&K chief, Rajesh Gupta has expressed dismay that G20 meetings are scheduled to be held in Ladakh and Kashmir but not in Jammu.
In an interview, Gupta took a dig on Dr Farooq Abdullah’s remarks in which he had flayed the Union government.
The NDPI leader said that voice of Jammu people was always suppressed.
He further added that Jammu always suffered discrimination in health, education, tourism and so many other sectors and the developmental opportunities were always diverted to Kashmir.
Gupta said that NC, Congress and PDP were the main culprits responsible for discrimination with Jammu. “Many times I raised the issue of discrimination with Jammu but Kashmir centric leadership never bothered,” he maintained adding: “NC always keeps an eye on winning election by using any means of befooling the public but now ‘grapes will be sour’ for Dr. Farooq Abdullah.
