NDPI demands proper quarantine facilities

JAMMU, Mar 25: National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) J&K Unit president, Rajesh Gupta today expressed deep shock and anguish over the poor condition of quarantine centre at Yatri Bhawan in Bhagwati Nagar here.
He claimed that people undergoing quarantine at various centers in Jammu are not properly treated.
Gupta quoted a video report to claim that the medical staff at one of such centres was seen throwing food packets from a distance to the affected people.
He demanded proper quarantine facilities with proper lodging, catering, laundry and related facilities along with thermal thermometers, BP machines, stethoscopes and trained medical staff.
Gupta also said that quarantine facilities should be established in the outskirts of city.
