NDPI demands complete lockdown

JAMMU, May 10: J&K unit president of National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI), Rajesh Gupta on Monday urged upon the PM Modi to impose a complete nationwide lockdown to break Coronavirus transmission chain.
He claimed that COVID-19 task force has also been advising for the same.
In a handout Gupta insisted on the need for complete and well-planned pre-announced lockdown across the country rather than in few States.
“Lockdown will break the chain of devastating spread,” he maintained adding that US President Joe Biden’s chief medical adviser has also suggested that a complete shutdown in India is needed for two to four weeks to help ease the surge of infections.
The NDPI leader appealed general public to follow COVID SOPs.
