JAMMU, May 24: A delegation of National Conference Students’ Union (NCSU) under the leadership of Vikas Badoria and Vikas Pandita guided by provincial senior vice president and incharge, NCSU, Sahil Singh Jamwal met Vice Chancellor (VC) of University of Jammu (JU)and presented a memorandum regarding their demand of online submission of forms and e- banking.
In the memorandum submitted to VC, NCSU representatives said that Jammu University is a reputed university of the State where students hailing from far flung areas want to get admission or are studying in the colleges affiliated to university throughout Jammu province. They said that it becomes cumbersome for the students of such areas to come and stand in queues for hours just to submit a single form.
They said that in the present era where Government is leaving no stone unturned to make a Digital India, it becomes imperative to arrange online submission of forms and e banking facilities to students which shall not only save time of students but also provide them easy access to university while sitting at their homes.
The Vice Chancellor gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured the students for an immediate action.
