JAMMU, Feb 14: Senior office bearers of Nationalist Congress Party met under the chairmanship of Thakur Randhir Singh, State president, NCP, State to discuss various issues both political and social, today.
Addressing the press conference after the meeting, Mr Singh asked the Municipal Corporation to launch more effective drive to make city of temples more clean and green and added that city has become a city of garbage. He demanded effective measures for streamlining of traffic in Jammu city.
While commenting on the visit of Prime Minister Modi to Baramati and meeting Sharad Pawar NCP chief, Mr Singh said that there is no politics involved in it.
K K Digra, vice president, NCP also raised the issues of famers and asked for effective measures to overcome them.
Other present were Prof G M Pal, K K Digra, R S Billowaria, Gourav Kapoor, Sandeep Manhas, V K Atri, R C Bali, Bansi Lal Sodhi etc.
