NCP appeals people to maintain communal harmony

JAMMU, Apr 20: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Randhir Singh appealed to the people to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood.
He stated this while interacting with media persons here after visiting the village Rasana in district Kathua, where he joined the dharna, being staged by the people of tehsil Hiranagar at Kootah Morh.
Singh was accompanied by Dr PD shastri, Vice President State NCP, Satpal Sharma, Vice President State NCP, RS Billowaria General Secretary-cum-Chief Spokesman and Suram Singh Jasrotia Chairman NFITU.
Randhir Singh said that CM Mehbooba Mufti should have called All Party meet to discuss Rasana rape and murder case.
Singh said that the murder of innocent girl which was committed in the month of January and was raised in the Assembly in April. “What was the police doing during this period in Kathua district”, he asserted.
He stated that the people involved in creating communal situation in Kathua and Jammu must be exposed by the higher authority not less than CBI.
Singh said that due to the failure of the Coalition Government, the people in Jammu belonging to all sections of the society have been forced to organize protests.
